
UCMed Nutritionist-Dietitians Attain International Certification in Food Safety
The University of Cebu Medical Center’s (UCMed) nutritionist-dietitians, Joshua David Bendoy and Geneiveve Codoy are now Internationally Certified Food Protection Managers provided by ServSafe USA.
Bendoy and Codoy have undergone training and excelled in passing the examination for the certification of food safety.

The training and examination were done last January 17-18, 2024 at Ecotech, Lahug, Cebu City, which was facilitated by the Department of Science and Technology Region 7 (DOST).
With this newly acquired certification, it is indeed a new milestone for UCMed and a first step towards changes and improvements to the Dietary Department’s services.
