
UCMed Starts to Vaccinate Minors vs. COVID-19
(UPDATED) The first batch of teens, who were inoculated in the University of Cebu Medical Center (UCMed), has completed their second dose on Friday, December 3, 2021.
The teens aging 12 to 17 years old received their first dose at UCMed last November 5.
This has been done through the COVID-19 Vaccine Inoculation Service which is being offered by UCMed.
The first batch of minors who were inoculated in UCMed received Moderna vaccine.
The minors were dependents of UCMed employees, majority were kids of the staff working in the hospital.
In early November, the government has started the rollout of the COVID-19 vaccination among the minors in the country.
