Celebrating the dedication and contributions of its allied health professionals, UCMed honors its Allied Team through its Allied Health Professional Services Week 2026 on September 16–18, 2026. Anchored to the theme, “Diverse Disciplines, One Vision: A Stronger, Healthier Tomorrow,” the three-day event highlights the vital role of allied health professionals in delivering quality healthcare and strengthening teamwork across the hospital.
The celebration opens on September 16 with a Holy Mass at the 6th Floor Chapel, bringing together members of the allied health community in prayer and thanksgiving.
On September 17, UCMed holds the main celebration at the ground floor of the hospital. Dr. Armando V. Tan, UCMed Medical Director, delivers the opening remarks, followed by a banner-dropping and ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark the official start of the festivities. The program also features an intermission number and a keynote message from Dr. Debbie Go, PEME Unit Head.

The celebration continues on September 18 with a Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) Caravan at the 6th Floor Mini-Conference Room. Atty. Rey Cris Panugaling, Director for the Human Resource Department and Legal Affairs, opens the afternoon program by acknowledging each department under the Allied Division, then opens booths exclusively for members of Allied Health Professional Services. Ms. Rezalyn Maputol, OIC of the Regulation Division for PRC-CV, shares updates from the Professional Regulation Commission to keep participants informed about relevant professional regulations. Dr. Anna Kathrina Oaminal-Watin, PEME Psychologist, also leads a talk on mental health, highlighting the importance of workplace well-being.
The program wraps up with intermission numbers and raffle draws, with Mr. Ronniel C. Dayaday, AHPS Director, closing the week’s celebration.
