UCMed Celebrates New Milestone: Participates in the ASPIRE 2024
The University of Cebu Medical Center, Inc. (UCMed) congratulates Dr. Alyssa Marie Clemente and Dr. Diana Rose Amodia, from the UCMed OB-GYN Department, for their successful presentation during the 13th Congress of the Asia Pacific Initiative on Reproduction (ASPIRE 2024) last May 23–26, 2024.

This annual congress, jointly organized by the Asia Pacific Initiative on Reproduction (ASPIRE) and the Philippine Society for Reproductive Medicine (PSRM), was held at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC) in Manila, Philippines.
The goal of the event is reflected in the congress theme, “Pearls of Wisdom in Reproductive Medicine: Towards Personalization and Improving Access.”
UCMed is honored to be chosen to be one of the presentors and join the competition, a first for UCMed, as there were only two (2) Cebu-based hospitals selected.
A total of 120 participating hospitals around the globe joined the event, presenting various cases related to the reproduction system.
Dr. Clemente and Dr. Amodia presented a unique case entitled “When Two Become One: A Diagnostic Dilema” A Rare Congenital Mullerian Duct Anomaly Causing Hematometra: Robert’s Uterus.”
UCMed is proud to be part of the event and to be represented by Dr. Clemente and Dr. Amodia.
Another milestone, indeed, that UCMed takes pride in.
